Unsatisfied with any of your current service providers? Home Watch Valet has access to a host of Licensed service providers including Electricians, Plumbers, and Pest Control as well as Carpet Cleaning, Landscapers, Handymen, Lawn Fertilization, etc
Digital Inventory Service includes:
- Comprehensive, Insurance acceptable digital recording of all aspects of your house contents and a summary of the exterior
- Inventory can be retained by you (as a DVD) or the contents stored digitally by Home Watch Valet, offsite at a secure facility. Offsite secure storage is free for 1 year, then a maintenance fee of $5.00 per year applies.
FP&L Energy Audit arranged in your absence and monitored by HWV personnel. Results and recommendations are forwarded to you via email or snail mail.
Hurricane Shutter Installation and Removal is performed by qualified HWV personnel to your schedule.
Depending on the type of storm shutters, we locate and install all shutters either at your request or, if prearranged, when the National Weather Service identifies the area as soon to be under a Hurricane Watch.
Closing Service (included with the Concierge Plan) allows you to just walk out and leave the worry to Home Watch Valet. In addition to the standard items you would normally consider such as lights and doors locked, we will:
- remove all perishables
- test all appliances for proper operation and unplug those that are needed
- Initiate the sequence of blinds and lights that will be used throughout the period you are gone to ensure that the house looks ‘lived in’.
- notify newspaper carrier of your absence to stop newspaper deliveries
- notify the post office of your forwarding address and expected day of return (if known)
- set thermostats to HWV recommended temps or prearranged client temps
- empty all waste containers
- place garbage cans out for collection
- PLUS many other items too numerous to list
Opening Service (included with the Concierge Plan) essentially reverses all those items which were performed on closing. Includes (at cost) pickup of essential grocery items from a standardized list.
Thermal Imaging Survey. Thermal Imaging, which is able to differentiate even slight temperatures, is an excellent way to visually see heat loss, over heating of electrical panels, circuits, or outlets, possible water leaks, and potential mold. A certified Thermal Imaging Specialist will conduct a whole house survey and provide all the appropriate pictures and comments on possible problem areas.
Air Conditioning Tuneup will be conducted by one of our Licensed Air Conditioning contractors and will test the servicing level of coolant, the output of the air vents, the efficiency of the system, and perform coolant servicing as needed. Recommendations for other service will be forwarded to you via email or snail mail.
Pressure Cleaning is available from one of our proven service providers and can include second story, roof, house exterior, lanai, pool area, driveway and sidewalk cleanings.
Vent Cleaning is one of the overlooked opportunities to keep your house clean year around by reducing residual dust and possible allergens. Our Licensed provider will clean all vent ways for your entire airconditioning/heating system while Home Watch Valet personnel ensure that your house is kept clean in the process.
Carpet Cleaning is provided using your choice of typical damp methods or the newer dry type of cleaning methods. Contractors are licensed, bonded and insured and will be supervised by HWV personnel.
Window Washing is another task that you hate to do so don’t worry, we have a great service that will clean all windows inside and out for you! Every window get individual attention for a streak free, clean as new shine.
Locksmith Services are the answer to concerns about past renters, previous owners, neighbors you no longer wish to have access, or even lost keys. Our Licensed and Insured Contractor can change all types of locks and even install new ones if necessary.
Who doesn’t need a good Handy man? Haven’t had time to get that minor household improvement done? Have a small little job that you just wish you could find someone to fix? Our HandyMan can help! No task is too small and the rates are great!
Mold Testing is provided by a local service that takes air samples and ships them off to a certified laboratory for impartial testing. Home Watch Valet can put youin touch with mold remediation services if required.
